Welcome to the Committee!

The Good

This section is intended to help onboard ye so you get up to speed in a smooth and consistent manner.
Often pages are put here due to issues we have come across and want to pass down knowledge to future generations.
Most of teh time the person in your role has written a Handover Document, or is still around that ye can lean on for support/questions. (its part of the reason we have advisors on discord).
There might also be a case where your predecessor might not be around to mentor you, this is the fallback.

The Bad

That being said, this wiki is both incomplete and lags behind the committee itself.
What is correct or true at the time the page was written might not still be true by the time you read it.
In short dont be expecting perfection from any of this.

The ugly Mutable

But thats not a bad thing, everything here can be changed.
We are Computer Society, but that does not mean we have to be rigid and unyielding.

• See a mistake/typo?
  • Ye can fix it!
• Find that there is a gap in teh docs?
  • Ye can plug the gap!
• The docs no longer reflect reality?
  • Ye can ignore them!
  • Or fix them up!!!
